When Kay learned to sleep, she lost the weight she wanted!

Before Kaye started the on-line MyMT™ ‘Circuit Breaker’ health improvement program in menopause, she was going to work having only had 3-4 hours sleep a night. For her role as a busy housekeeper in a hotel, this was not good! As she said on signing up.

“I have recently moved into a new apartment as well as started a new job and my stress levels have been through the roof. I have been going to work with as little as 3-4 hours sleep some days.

I’m housekeeping in a hotel so my job is very physical. I walk 35 minutes home afterward.

I constantly feel tired and my body aches…..I was told to go on a restrictive diet and walk for an hour, but I have no energy. I don’t like being 51! My weight is going UP not down. I cry a lot!”

The first thing Kaye learnt on the MyMT program, was that until she SLEPT all night and reduced her hot flushes and night sweats, no amount of exercise or restrictive dieting was going to help her gain energy and lose weight. This is because her menopause hormones were working against anything she had been advised to do and the lifestyle she was leading wasn’t helping her to re-set her new-normal for hormonal balance. If you don’t do this, you don’t lose weight!

For six months now, Kaye has been working her way through the MyMT on-line modules. All at her pace. Here’s what she posted recently and with her permission, we share HER SUCCESS with you:

“The last time I weighed myself I’d lost over 10 kgs. That was a few weeks ago now…..I don’t own any scales just go by how my clothes fit…or not! Before MyMT, I was advised to have less than 1200 calories a day…..walking for an hour a day (not sleeping) and l didn’t lose any weight. I thought I was never going to be able to get rid of those awful hips! I was feeling quite depressed and spent a lot of time in tears which I was putting down to menopause! Thank heavens I’m feeling much better now. On the up side I have been sleeping much better. Manage 7-8 hours most nights. My energy has returned and my moods are better too. Anyway just wanted to let you know all that. I can’t thank you and your program enough.”

Kaye, 51 years, NZ

Well done Kaye. You should feel really proud of what you’ve achieved!
