Podcast (Part 1): How to Avoid Menopause Weight Gain.

It’s something that plagues most women going through peri-menopause & menopause: the insomnia. The waking at 2am or 4am and not being able to get back to sleep. The constant waking because of hot sweats. The bone-deep tiredness that’s our constant companion through life” mentioned Australian, Karen O’Connor, curator of the blog ‘Menopause, Marriage and Motherhood’ when she got hold of me for this interview.

I bought pretty much every book on sleep that I could get my hands on and I put every action into place, bought every natural remedy I could find, but I still spent most of my life for eight or nine years, in this permanent haze of fuzzy-headed tiredness. I had no idea about the connection between lack of sleep during menopause and weight gain.”

I hope you enjoy it as much as Karen’s followers did. If you click on the image below, then this takes you to Karen’s podcast page.

Then if you like what you hear and haven’t listened to my Masterclass on Menopause yet, then I have 2 hours for you (and yes, you can ‘pause’ me any time you like), so the link to the Masterclass webinar is HERE for you too.

As a women’s health and ageing educator, I truly believe in the power of knowledge and menopause as a natural biological stage of life has remained buried in the medical and pharmaceutical industries for years. Whilst this is fine, I was curious as to why there are numerous cultures around the world, who don’t experience the symptoms that women living in western societies experience. So, if you are curious too, then listen or watch the two podcast interviews that I did with Karen recently and then get into the Masterclass as well. There is just a small admin fee for the Masterclass on N$15/ UK£8 as I host you in my private member area.
