This program differs from my menopause symptom reduction programs, MyMT™ Transform Me and Circuit Breaker, which were focused on many of the symptoms of menopause such as disrupted sleep, hot flushes, weight gain, brain fog, aching joints etc.

Whereas Beyond Menopause is your ‘how-to’ guide to preventing many of the pitfalls of ageing that our mother’s generation experienced. This includes dementia and Alzheimer’s prevention, osteoporosis prevention, heart disease prevention, and how to look after your health if you already have a chronic disease.

I also focus a lot more on mental and emotional wellbeing and other factors that are evidenced for women’s longevity

One of the challenges that women have in post-menopause, is that their fat distribution is changing and this tends to become more situated around the abdominal and diaphragmatic regions. When this happens, then there is a risk that the fat will move deeper and become unhealthy visceral fat. Whilst I do have a module about weight loss in the Beyond Menopause™ programme, if you have more than 10kg (20 lbs) to lose, then I do recommend that you start with the weight loss programme called Transform Me™.

This programme has the liver health and oestrogen dominance information in it, as well as a Food Guide that is dedicated to weight loss and other fascinating information for you. If you have a lesser amount of weight to lose, then come and join me on the Beyond Menopause™ programme when you can.

Post menopause is defined as when you’re been without menstrual periods for one year or more. There are three stages of menopause. The first two stages are perimenopause and menopause, post menopause being the final.  The average age of menopause is 52.

If you are Beyond Menopause but are still experiencing common symptoms such as hot flushes, disturbed sleep, night sweats, insomnia, brain fog then you may like to start with our symptom management programs. Postmenopause symptoms are common, and so you are not alone in experiencing these.

We have two main 12 week programs for menopause symptom management – MyMT™ Circuit Breaker is for leaner women and MyMT™ Transform Meis for women who are struggling with menopause weight gain. Physical activity is important to maintain a healthy body weight, for cardiovascular health, emotional health, reducing fracture risk and more.

As part of this program you will learn about the types of exercises and movement that are uniquely evidenced to support post-menopause women.
