Imagine a place where you can learn how to turn around your health so you have a clear path to sleep all night, lose weight and feel like you have the energy you deserve during your 50’s.
I get some pretty amazing emails from women on the MyMT™ programmes arrive in my Inbox. I do love sharing their inspiring messages. Here is one from Losena, originally from Fiji, but now from Melbourne:
“Dear Wendy – I can’t tell you how much your programme has changed my life. My husband is doing it too. It never ceases to amaze me how easily you explain how everything connects in our body. Our bodies are truly wonderfully and fearfully made.”
“I didn’t know how menopause affects so many other areas. My dizziness has gone away and my Doctor has now taken me off my diabetes tablets. I’m so excited! Thank you so much for your amazing programme. My blood pressure is down as well. Hallelujah!! And I am feeling sooooo much better and normal again. I will be going back in a couple of weeks for a review with my Doctor and see where we go from there. I’m sleeping so well these days and my hubby and I go walking every morning which has been great! I’m doing a lot of walking in between work and home duties. Watching my intake of food, quality and quantity-wise.”
Little steps make a giant big step
“For example, I hadn’t thought about the fact that being from Fiji, moving to Melbourne would affect how much Vitamin D I should be having. I didn’t know that we have oestrogen receptors in our skin which affects our absorption of Vitamin D. That knowledge was so helpful to me. Your post about how we shouldn’t have coconut oil for our heart health resonated with me too. I see it around the supermarket all the time and it is being marketed on the back of promoting the health of Pacific Islanders.”
“However, as you discussed from the scientific evidence regarding the coconut oil, well we have NEVER used coconut oil in cooking at all. We use coconut oil for our skin and hair, for massaging and lots of other things but never in cooking. For cooking, we scrape the fresh coconut flesh and squeeze out the cream for cooking or eat the flesh from the young green coconuts and drink its juice. We cook fish with fresh squeezed coconut cream plus other varieties of vegetables like taro leaves, cabbage, pumpkin shoots, asparagus etc. Thank you for reminding me of the food that I love and grew up with and that my body is used to having. I want you to tell the other ladies that in your coaching group!” Read my blog here.
“For work I do two days at our old people’s home as a kitchen hand and 3 days at our medical centre as an admin/receptionist person. And I love both. However life just seems to get soooo busy and we don’t have enough time to smell the roses. Your programme has given me my energy back and the focus to change things with my health. I’m enjoying all the webinars and your emails. I always go over them again and again in case I miss something.
I’m really trying to do my best to live a more healthy and happy life and also getting my hubby to do the same. We want to enjoy our grandchildren for as long as we can.”
